A video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by user @Hybrid_Ola shows Khadijat standing by the roadside with a tray of roasted corn, actively selling to passersby.
As of the time of this report, Asake has not commented on the video or responded to the renewed backlash.
The clip has since gone viral, with many Nigerians flooding the comment section to express their concern and disappointment over the singer’s alleged neglect.
Recall that in March 2025, Adijat first came into the spotlight when reports surfaced that Asake’s father was allegedly seeking financial help for his health, fueling claims that the singer had abandoned him.
