A new clip is making the rounds online that shows the beautiful moment USA President Donald Trump refuses to leave the stage as he lifts the trophy with Chelsea players.
The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final was held on Sunday, July 13th, 2025, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, United States, with President Donald Trump, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, and other distinguished dignitaries in attendance.
At the end of 90minutes, Chelsea beat PSG 3-0 with 2 goals from Cole Palmer and one goal from Joao Pedro, making the English side to become Club World Cup champions.
According to reports, Chelsea Football Club will earn a massive $125 million for winning the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, the largest prize in club football history. This includes a $40 million champion’s bonus, additional earnings from match victories, and a participation payment as a UEFA representative.
However, one of the moments that raised eyebrows was when Donald Trump presented and celebrated Chelsea’s Club World Cup victory on stage in New York after they beat PSG.
Chelsea’s Cole Palmer said he was “a bit confused” as to why Trump stayed on stage, with Reece James also saying: “I thought he was going to exit… but he wanted to stay.”
