Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Adekunle Gold, also known as AG Baby, has taken to social media to share his Polytechnic HND certificate after an X user requested proof.

Recall that Adekunle Gold genuinely rewarded several first-class graduates with ₦250,000 each after they publicly posted their academic transcripts on X (formerly Twitter) 👨‍🎓.

The giveaway kicked off on July 16, 2025, when Adekunle Gold asked followers who had graduated with first-class honours to share proof of their results.

Notably, Adekunle Gold specifically advised OAU (Obafemi Awolowo University) graduates not to bother participating, citing a lingering grudge stemming from a negative experience at the school in 2015.

However, an X user identified as @lamispaco in a tweet that generated a significant impression on the app asked what Adekunle Gold graduated with.

@lamispaco tweeted; “Wetin @adekunleGOLD sef graduate with?”

Responding, Adekunle Gold said that he graduated with an Upper Credit from the Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH).

Another X user, known as @Big_Larry11 asked the singer to back his Upper Credit claim with evidence.

@Big_Larry11 tweeted; “Post it let us see.”

And Adekunle Gold wasted no time by displaying his HND certificate.

Reactions as AG Baby reveals his polytechnic certificate

Obinna Ibemere: Straight to the point. Something that Tinubu had to assemble 65 SANs to defend.

Julia Oge Ejike: Evidence is available not like those claiming to be graduate but we can’t see any proof but they are ruling us.

Joy Eshemozini Omolaiye: Sickle cell are very intelligent who else noticed, or ever have one.

@King__Lekan: You also know wetin u pass through for Poly before you get Upper credit. Yet you no rate us wey go Poly get Upper ???

Dennis Chuka Odoh:  What ya’ll might not understand is that those interactions/comment replies, equally keep the figure relevant.. Infact, In my opinion, they should be thanking those handlers for calling them out. We don forget plenty artist until someone somehow mention their name on social media..

Lukman Danusman Sanusi: This is the confidence that comes with attending the fall walls of the classroom. It’s not to be shouting school na scam everywhere because there is poor employment opportunity. Imagine he didn’t go to school. What would he have provided as an evidence?
