Superstar Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, hails from a wealthy family and is often seen as a prime example of a “Nepo Baby”. However, a new video shared by singer Teniola about his white wedding in Miami, Florida, has become a talking point online.
Davido tied the knot with his beautiful wife, Chioma, in a lavish ceremony on Sunday, August 10th, 2025, in Miami, drawing an array of celebrities and dignitaries from both Nigeria and the USA.
Notable guests included Gov. Ademola Adeleke, Aliko Dangote, Bukola Saraki, Alex Otti, Obi Cubana, Pocolee, Teni, Adekunle Gold, and Joeboy, among others.
Reports reveal that Davido performed for over 1,300 guests at the opulent event, which he claimed cost $3.7 million (₦3.3 billion). He also purchased a $1 million Richard Mille watch for himself, gifted Chioma a $300,000 (₦459 million) Richard Mille timepiece, and presented her with a wedding ring worth ₦1.5 billion.
Taking to her official Instagram page, singer Teni revealed that after spending three days at the hotel Davido booked for her in Miami for his white wedding, she was already enjoying herself so much that she decided to extend her stay by an extra day and that was just the beginning.
She recounted calling the hotel receptionist to inquire about the room rate, only to discover it cost $4,000 (₦6.1 million) per night. Shocked by the price, Teni joked that she immediately began packing her bags before her time ran out.
Teni, who has been in Miami with other wedding guests since Friday, 8th, August 2025, later disclosed that Davido had been covering the $4,000-per-night cost for each guest’s room for the past three days.
Teni says; “After the wedding was done and Davido told me he wasn’t gonna be paying my hotel again, I went to extend my stay and management told me that it is $4k per night, I immediately parked my things and left the hotel as fast as I could. I don’t know how Davido managed to pay that amount for everyone at $4k per night. OBO money too long.”
Sharing the clip, Teni wrote; “I DON MOVE OOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! MIAMI HOTEL NO GO WOUND ME.”
