Former Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo has stirred reactions online after a new video of him surfaced.
In the trending clip, the 88-year-old statesman, fondly called OBJ, was seen spraying money on Fuji legend, K1 De Ultimate.
Obasanjo, joined by former First Lady Patience Jonathan and other dignitaries, hit the dance floor at the birthday celebration of Chief Morenike Faloyin Badejo.
While performing, K1 De Ultimate hailed Obasanjo with praises such as “General, Aremu, President.” The constant encomiums seemingly moved the ex-president to do something unusual in public.
To the surprise of many, Obasanjo dipped his hand into his pocket and sprayed cash on K1 De Ultimate. The Fuji star and his band bowed in respect, acknowledging the rare gesture from the former president.
