Former Big Brother Naija star Deeone has sparked reactions after comparing the wedding of Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola to that of Davido and Chioma.
In a clip shared on his Instagram page, the comedian claimed that Mr Eazi is wealthier than Davido, stressing that his wedding with Temi reportedly cost about $14 million and was held across three countries—Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland.
Deeone contrasted this with Davido and Chioma’s Miami wedding, which he pegged at around $6 million. He further noted that Mr Eazi and Temi’s private ceremonies were graced by high-profile guests, including Africa’s richest men, Aliko Dangote, BUA Cement founder Abdul Samad Rabiu, among others.
Backing his claims, Deeone admitted that the Adeleke family is wealthy but insisted their fortune cannot be compared to that of Otedola and Mr Eazi’s Ajibade family.
Taking a swipe at Davido’s circle, Deeone mocked Cubana Chief Priest, saying those who once bragged with phrases like “Money na water” have now gone silent after witnessing even bigger wealth.
Deeone further tells people never to tell him not to compare Mr Eazi’s wedding to that of Davido’s wedding, as he stressed that both weddings are on social media and they are meant to be treated and compared.
He rounded off by advising Nigerians not to pressure themselves, stressing that wealth differs—“where some people’s money ends, that’s where another person’s money begins.”
