Online personality Naijashimadun, popularly known as Baba Egbe, has reacted after Tiwa Savage called him out for clout-chasing with her latest album.
Recall that Tiwa Savage, the 45-year-old mother of one, recently dropped her new project titled “This One Is Personal.” Shortly after, she expressed frustration over the industry’s “darkness and evil,” lamenting that her songs were struggling to chart due to low streaming numbers.
In response, Naijashimadun mocked the singer, stating that instead of complaining about poor performance, Tiwa should focus on collaborating with younger female artistes. He further claimed that she had been blacklisted in the industry, which explains the album’s struggles.
This response did not go down well with Tiwa Savage who reacted by sharing a new clip on her official Instagram page yesterday, September 8th 2025, where she blasted the online personality who is based abroad.
Tiwa Savage tagged Naijashimadun as a useless individual who set up a ringlight recklessly to drag a successful woman like her.
In her words; ‘Guys, I have to come outside, I am at the airport and my team are with me, I had to tell them that I want to make a phone call, they will not allow me to make this video, I heard there is one useless man, that is talking recklessly on social media, setting ring light for a successful woman, I have to respect you because because you look older but sir are you okay? Are you normal? abi won jugbe mo yin ni sir (did they throw shit at you, sir), abi werey jeun loriyin ni sir? I have to go, I have a plane to catch, I will see you in New York.”
Reacting to the heavy dragging by Tiwa Savage, Naijashimadun in new posts on his official Instagram page shows that he is not ashamed of the insults uttered at him by Tiwa Savage.
Instead of clapping back at Tiwa Savage, Naijashimadun urged his followers to stream her newly released album. However, he maintained his earlier stance, advising the singer to support and collaborate with upcoming female artistes rather than only lamenting about her album’s performance.
Naijashimadun also shares some clips of K1 De Ultimate where people are dancing and rejoicing stressing that it is love from him to Tiwa Savage tagging the singer as “Tope.”
Many netizens believed that Naijashimadun is mature for him to have promoted Tiwa Savage’s album and added funny clips of people dancing to K1’s songs in his new posts.
An Instagram user identified as djropex_zeroworries wrote, “Baba egba u too mature ❤️ more love less ego.”
Meanwhile, others claimed that Naijashimadun is using styles to insult Tiwa Savage after the singer aggressively dragged her online.
Another Instagram user identifed as jaycee_2810 wrote; “the straight bullet meet baba well well 😂.”
