A Nigerian Tiktoker, Segun Olaoluwa, who some months back shared a video in which he claimed that actress Dayo Amusa, is a person living with HIV has come out to share his experience after he was locked up over the false claim.
Recall that after his video went viral, Dayo came out to debunk the claim and said she was going to make him a scapegoat for making such a false claim about her. Well, she took it up with the police and the Tiktoker was locked up and he spent some days in cell.
In a video he shared, Segun recounted his horrible experience while in cell.
He said he spent two days in Yaba Panti police station and described it as one of the worst experiences of his life. “I spent two days locked up in Yaba Panti. Aside from losing my mum, that was the worst experience of my life,” he said.
He added, “I want to thank Aunty Dayo Amusa for forgiving me. If not that she changed her mind and forgave me, I would have been there for a long time. I don’t pray to ever sleep in a cell again.”
In a Tuesday, September 16th post on social media, Amusa announced that she has forgiven the TikTok creator.
She explained that her decision came after discovering he had recently lost his mother, meeting his family members, and learning that he is just 27 years old. This followed a video she shared on Monday via Instagram, where she publicly declared her forgiveness for Segun.
