A heartwarming clip is trending online showing Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State displaying his philanthropic nature effortlessly.
In the viral video, the governor transformed the life of a puff-puff seller within minutes by appointing him as a government chef, a gesture that has sparked massive reactions across social media.
This comes just days after reports surfaced that, despite Osun State under Adeleke’s PDP-led administration not receiving federal revenue from the FG, APC-led government, the governor and his family members, including Davido’s father and Davido himself, have been personally funding state salaries.
In the clip, Governor Adeleke was seated by the window inside the government bus when he asked the driver to stop and called out to a puff-puff seller standing in the crowd.
The governor inquired about the price of all the puff-puff, but the seller, visibly stunned to be in his presence, struggled to respond. She eventually mentioned ₦20,000, and Adeleke instructed her to share the puff-puff with the crowd—marking just the beginning of her surprise.
Shortly after, Governor Adeleke gifted her ₦50,000 in cash. Concerned for her safety, he then invited her into the government bus. Overjoyed, the puff-puff seller entered, greeted the governor by going on her knees, and followed him along with officials to the Government House.
