Bose Ogulu, the mother of popular Nigerian singer Burna Boy, fuels reactions online following the way he hails his son Burna Boy as he released new album.

Grammy Award winner, Burna Boy, releases his 8th studio album, titled “No Sign of Weakness” today, July 11th, 2025.

The 16-track project by the 34-year-old singer features a genre-blending mix of afrobeats, rock, country, and R&B influences.

The album features previously released singles like “Bundle by Bundle,” “Update,” “Sweet Love,” “TaTaTa” featuring American rapper Travis Scott, and “Change Your Mind” with Nigerian-American country star Shaboozey.

It also includes high-profile collaborations such as Rolling Stones founder Mick Jagger on “Empty Chairs” and Belgian-Rwandan pop star Stromae on “Pardon.”

Apart from Shaboozey, the No Sign of Weaknessalbum does not include any other Nigerian artists.

However, after the album’s release, a funny clip surfaced online showing Burna Boy’s mother and manager, Bose Ogulu, hyping her son.

Her praise was so intense that Burna Boy ended up running away from her with a big smile on his face.
