Nigerian social media activist Mertins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman, has sparked reactions online after revealing that he met with actress Iyabo Ojo.
This comes shortly after Iyabo broke her silence following the fire that gutted her Lagos office on Tuesday evening.
The mother of two shared the aftermath of the incident on her Instagram page, explaining that although several buildings and goods were destroyed, no lives were lost.
However, in a message shared on her Instagram page on Thursday, the actress revealed that she had been receiving threats to her life and family even before the incident at her workplace.
She claimed the threats were linked to her vocal advocacy for justice over the death of the late musician Ilerioluwa ‘Mohbad’ Aloba.

In a recent video, the critic revealed that he had a private meeting with Iyabo Ojo, where they discussed issues surrounding the death of the late Mohbad. He claimed that they talked about many things but chose not to disclose the details publicly.
VDM further shared that he was surprised by the actress’s recent statement, adding that only God and the universe could bear witness to what truly happened between them.
