Nollywood actor Don Richard has opened up about a health scare that took him by surprise — and ironically, it came after he quit smoking and drinking.
In a recent video, he shared that he only began facing serious health challenges two years after turning his back on his old habits. Falling ill at a time when he expected to feel healthier made the ordeal even more humbling for him.
He was hospitalized during this period, which, he said, forced him to do some deep soul-searching.
According to the actor, it was in that hospital room that he realised a truth many overlook — that many of the illnesses that claim the lives of prominent people often start from within.
