Grammy Award-Winner, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has revealed what his life might have looked like if he weren’t a musician.
Speaking with one of his followers, Burna Boy admitted he could have ended up as a suicide bomber, an oil thief, or even a prostitute if music hadn’t worked out for him.
When asked what he might have been doing if he hadn’t become a singer, Burna Boy replied: “There are many options I could be stealing oil, playing basketball, a fraudster, a suicide bomber, anything, even a prostitute.”
The Grammy winner has set a new milestone as Africa’s artist with the most entries on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
His collaboration with American rapper Gunna, “WGFT” from Gunna’s new album “The Last Wun,”debuted at number 96 on this week’s chart, raising Burna Boy’s total entries to seven.
He also became the first African artist to debut a song on the Billboard Hot 100 for five consecutive years (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025).
