Former Chelsea midfielder Kante, now playing for Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad, has stirred online conversations after a recent clip of him with former World Footballer of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo surfaced.
The two stars faced off in the Saudi Super Cup, where Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr clashed with Al-Ittihad.
What caught attention online was a moment showing Al-Ittihad players lining up to shake hands with Ronaldo, the Al-Nassr captain, sparking mixed reactions.
While the likes of Benzema, Fabinho, among other Al-Ittihad players shook hands with C.Ronaldo, it was contrary for French midfielder Kante, who walked past the Portuguese icon.
As expected, the clip was trailed with mixed reactions online, while some said that Kante used to be a shy person who can’t even lift France World Cup trophy, others shared their contrary opinions accusing Kante of being prideful in anture.
