Jordan Wike, the 25-year-old son of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, has reportedly received special land allocations across Abuja — a situation some civil servants have described as highly questionable.

Documents reviewed by Peoples Gazette show that Jordan, who recently completed his master’s degree in law from a UK university, was listed as the beneficiary of at least 1,740 hectares of land worth an estimated $2.85 billion over the past year. Some of these plots were previously reclaimed by his father from other holders over compliance issues.

This appears to be part of a broader pattern involving the minister’s family. The Gazette had earlier reported that Jordan’s younger brother, Joaquin Wike, 23, was also allocated 2,082 hectares of land valued at about $3.6 billion between October 2024 and May 2025.

Combined, the two sons have reportedly been linked to a total of 3,822 hectares of land, potentially worth $6.45 billion, according to officials familiar with the figures. These estimates exclude the added value from official documentation, which could push the total worth even higher.

Despite the public outcry, Minister Wike has denied any deliberate involvement, with a spokesperson claiming it was purely coincidental that both sons were listed in the asset records.
