The influence of content creator GehGeh has been evident among many Nigerian men, following a new viral video.
In the trending clip, a man named Emmanuel took a lady, Jennifer, to court after she allegedly collected ₦30,000 for transport fare but refused to visit him.
A court session was arranged to hear from both parties, and after several arguments at the magistrate court, Jennifer was fined ₦450,000 for taking the money without showing up.
Reports claimed that failure to pay the ₦450,000 compensation could result in a seven-year prison sentence for her.
Sharing the clip an X influencer identified as Peace Ighodaro wrote, “She was sued just because she collected 30k from guy for Tfare and didn’t show up. Now she’s to pay N450k as damages. 😢💔.”
