A Nigerian man has shared an emotional story of hardship, revealing how he was paid ₦3,500 after donating blood, only to lose the money before getting home — a situation that left him sleeping under a bridge that night.

The story was shared in a video posted on TikTok, where the man, identified as Samad from Offa, Kwara State, was interviewed and asked about his life experiences.

In the emotional clip, Samad recalled what he described as one of his “better” days, explaining that after donating blood and receiving ₦3,500, the money went missing. He was left stranded, broke, and heartbroken.

His words: “I don suffer. I go donate blood and was paid ₦3,500. Before I reach house, the money don lost. I cry that day. I slept under the bridge, and it was raining.”

He was also asked questions about his relationships and whether he uses substances, but the highlight of the interview was the heartbreak and hardship he expressed from that experience.

The video has since sparked mixed reactions online, with many Nigerians flooding the comment section to express sympathy, concern, and thoughts on the rising level of poverty.
