As investigations into the death of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, continue, his close friend and colleague Bella Shmurda has broken his long silence.
In a livestream with TikToker Joblaq, Bella Shmurda shared how Mohbad’s tragic death profoundly changed his life.
He admitted, “RIP Mohbad. After he passed away my brain reset, everything changed. The way I see things in life also changed.”
The singer described himself as being in a phase of rediscovery, explaining that Mohbad’s passing pushed him into a period of deep reflection, the kind parents often warn their children about, but one that only becomes real through lived experience.
Bella Shmurda explained; “There’s a time that our parents used to tell us when we misbehave, ‘Don’t worry, very soon you will understand.’ I’m currently in that phase where I’m starting to understand. I have understood certain things.”
