VeryDarkMan initially stirred conversation after revealing details of a meeting between Iyabo and Naira Marley. In response, Iyabo addressed the matter in a live video, even sharing her son Festus’ personal experience.
In a seeming clapback, VeryDarkMan released an alleged screenshot of Iyabo criticizing Davido in a WhatsApp group formed after Mohbad’s passing. In the message, she reportedly accused Davido of using the late singer’s death for clout.
Following the development, Davido reportedly unfollowed Iyabo on Instagram, although some claim he was never following her to begin with.
In reaction, some netizens suggested that music star Wizkid might have also been drawn into the drama after an old video of Iyabo Ojo resurfaced online. In the clip, Iyabo called on Wizkid and Tiwa Savage to join her in seeking justice.
