Kudirat Abeniade, a well-known Yoruba actress who goes by Mama No Network, has talked about a terrifying encounter from her early Nollywood days.

In a recent interview, Abeniade recounted a near-death accident that occurred while shooting a film in Ijebu Ode.

According to Abeniade, the accident happened when she and her friend were riding a bike to another location for a hospital scene. “We were moving to another location, a hospital scene,” she explained.

“The bike couldn’t carry two people properly. Suddenly, a trailer was approaching, and the bike man jumped off, leaving me and my friend on the bike.”

The situation quickly turned dire. “My friend did a stunt while my head was upside down, and blood was pouring out of my head and chest,” Abeniade recalled. The accident left her in a critical state, and she was fortunate to have survived.

Abeniade’s account highlights the risks and challenges that many actors face in the film industry, particularly during the early days of their careers.
