A Nigerian lady, Nneka, has revealed how her admiration for Korean actor Lee Min Ho inspired her to learn the Korean language, a decision that ultimately helped her secure a job with the Korean government.

In a viral post on X by @nekie_neka, she shared how what started as a simple crush turned into a life-changing opportunity.

She said; “I currently earn a living because I have a crush on a Korean actor. I wanted to be able to tell him “hello, I love your dramas, can I call you oppa and can I take a picture” in Korean, so I started learning the language, then I won a speaking contest, became a Korean teacher, a content creator, a Korean interpreter, an influencer and finally, an employee of the Korean government in Nigeria.”

The lady added; “Absolutely! It’s the delectably handsome Lee Min Ho. He acted like he was owing rent for 7 years in City Hunter and made me fall completely in love with him. Unfortunately, I haven’t met him yet.”

In a follow-up post, Nneka revealed that it has been a year since she began working with the Korean government, adding that she even received a promotion during that time.

Nneka said; “Tomorrow marks my one-year work anniversary. They actually let me work at a Korean government office for a whole year, and didn’t kick me out for being a delulu fangirl. They’re not even planning to. In fact, they even gave me a higher position at some point. Toh.”
