Nigerian social media commentator Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has sparked intense online discussions after claiming to identify the voice in a viral video captured during a mid-air flight scare.
According to Gistlover, the video, which recently circulated widely on social media, shows a moment of distress onboard an aircraft that appeared to encounter turbulence or another in-flight emergency. In the footage, a man’s panicked voice is heard crying out in fear and prayer.
VeryDarkMan suggested that the voice belonged to Nigeria’s Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike. While not fully certain, he stated he was about “60% sure” and pointed to a separate clip where Wike shared a testimony in church about surviving a frightening incident during a private flight.
Using the situation to make a broader social commentary, VeryDarkMan urged political leaders to reflect on how the average Nigerian faces daily struggles without the safety nets afforded to the elite. He emphasized that experiences like the one in the video serve as a reminder that no amount of political power can place anyone above divine intervention.
