Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Divine Ikubor, better known as Rema, has announced the winner of his viral Kelebu challenge.
Rema, who recently released the new song “Kelebu” announced the winner of the challenge via his official Instagram page today, August 7th, 2025.
Recall that after Rema disclosed that the song “Kelebu” will be released on August 1st, 2025, the singer added that the winner of the challenge will go home with $10,000 (N16M).
Rema wrote, “$10K for whoever comes up with an EASY dance for KELEBU.”
Following the above PR for the song, several Nigerians on the video-sharing platform, TikTok, hopped on the challenge, even some tipped the late Mr. Ibu to win the challenge as a video of him resurfaced, and it blends with the Kelebu song.
Today, Rema said that he picked the winner of the song based on votes from fans and the TikTok user with the highest vote happened to be @thepopboys1.
Rema said that he will give the boys $10,000 (N16M), they will appear in the official music video of Kelebu, and finally they will have a video chat with him (Rema).
Rema while congratulating @thepopboys1 said; “Come get ur money.”
