Rihanna’s father, Ronald Fenty, has reportedly passed away at the age of 70 in Los Angeles after a brief illness.
His death comes as Rihanna awaits the arrival of her third child with A$AP Rocky, a pregnancy she revealed at the 2025 MET Gala.
Reports state that Ronald Fenty died on May 31, 2025, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, with Rihanna and her brother, Rajad Fenty, said to have been present at the time.
However, neither Rihanna nor her management team has commented on the reports surrounding her father’s passing.
Notably, her relationship with Ronald Fenty was often strained, marked by periods of estrangement and public conflicts — including a 2019 lawsuit she filed against him for allegedly using her name and likeness without permission.
