Popular Nigerian activist Martins Vincent Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan (VDM) in a clip that has gone viral online, felt disappointed as a student couldn’t complete a sentence.

Recall that in a content published by Intel Region, VDM was seen in a school uniform with children as he led a protest in Abuja following over 9weeks of strike by unpaid teachers.

The protest broke out after Wike revealed plans to withhold 10 percent of the FCT’s internally generated revenue (IGR) that is legally allocated to the area councils. He explained that the decision was a response to the ongoing strike by primary school teachers, triggered by the councils’ failure to implement the new minimum wage.

The protest with the school children took place at the entrance of the office of Nyesom Wike, the Minister of FCT, Abuja. The activist also used the opportunity to call out President Tinubu, who also resides in Abuja, to weigh in on the strike so that children can go back to school and learn.

Even though, the protest was held on Monday, June 23, a rare clip from the protest recently surfaced online, today, June 25th, 2025.

In the new clip, VDM calls out one of the students at the protest and ask him what he want to be in the future.

However, the senior secondary school student left many, including VeryDarkMan, disappointed as he couldn’t form a complete sentence, let alone express what he hopes to become in the future.

VDM, who was clearly not happy, tagged the student as “Olodo” and told him to go back, and he called on another student who could display his/her academic buoyancy.
