Nollywood actor, Lalude has talked candidly about his tense working relationship with Sola Sobowale.

Lalude disclosed that one day at a show, Sola did something that hurt him in an interview with Behind the Fame – African A-List.  He claimed to have heard that the well-known actress was present and that she was aware of his presence but chose not to stop by.

Lalude also recalled how Ngozi introduced Sola Sobowale to him when she was trying to join acting. He claimed the light-skinned, award-winning actress isn’t wealthy, like she pretends to be.

“She did something that pained me one day, I was at Olayemi Olayinka’s show and I heard Shola Shobowale was there and she knew I was around also, but didn’t bother to come say hi, she’s not even older than me. Back then, when we were doing Uncle Jide Kosoko’s play ‘Ogun Awoyaya’ at the National Theatre, that was when Ngozi brought her to me and introduced her to me. She was trying to join acting, as much as I like, but what she did that day surprised me. Regardless of her living abroad, she’s not truly wealthy. We were there with Yinka, and she went to the stage and left without seeing me, that’s the only thing that pained me”.
