Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), has reacted strongly to a viral video capturing the drama involving Senator Adams Oshiomole at the Lagos airport.

The incident, which reportedly occurred after the former Edo State governor missed his flight to Abuja, has sparked widespread debate online.

Reacting to the footage, Verydarkman described Oshiomole’s behavior as both “disgraceful and shameful,”especially considering his age and public position.

VDM criticized the senator for causing a scene, questioning what kind of example he was setting as a leader. He pointed out that such conduct would be unacceptable in other countries and asked if Oshiomole would have acted the same way in a place like Cape Verde, where his own wife is from.

Rather than create chaos, VDM advised that the senator use his influence to propose legislation that addresses poor airline service a problem many Nigerians have long complained about. According to him, Oshiomole likely ignored these concerns in the past, but is now experiencing them firsthand.

He didn’t spare Air Peace either, accusing the airline of regularly delaying flights and inconveniencing passengers. VDM recalled a personal experience where his luggage was sent to Abuja while he was flying to Calabar. He also mentioned a friend’s partner who missed her flight after being delayed for eight hours.

Wrapping up his statement, VDM expressed frustration over the state of the country, saying:

“This country is gone. Crazy, what kind of example do you want to show. What do you want people to do if they are in your shoes. This disgraceful and shameful. Would you do this outside Nigeria? “
