Veteran Nigerian actress Peju Ogunmola has been thrown into mourning following the death of her only son, Ayomikun, who was 24-year-old.
The heartbreaking news was made public by her colleague, Odunlade Adekola, who expressed his grief in an emotional post online.
The circumstances surrounding Ayomikun’s death remain unclear, but the news has cast a shadow of grief over social media, leaving colleagues and fans of his mother deeply saddened.
Odunlade Adekola wrote; “This is a big LOSS 😭😭😭😭😭😭 God will console you ma …… and the whole family E LE YI PO OOO.”
Actress Biola Bayo wrote; “This is a big loss💔💔💔💔 This is devastating and heartbreaking 💔 This is tragic 💔💔💔💔 May God almighty Comfort mummy Peju Ogunmola who just lost her only child 😭😭 May God almighty be with the family and loved ones at this tough time.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭.”
Femi Adebayo also shared a post where he wrote; “Life has written a line too heavy for the stage… Today, we mourn with our dear elder, a thespian whose heart now carries the weight no mother should bear. My thoughts and prayers are with you ma. May Almighty Allah grant him Aljannah Firdaus.”
Also, Oluwaseun Moyo Oloketuyi, the Founder/ Chief Executive Officer of Best of Nollywood (BON) Ventures, confirms the death of Peju Ogunmola’s only son today, September 2nd 2025 via his Instagram page.
She wrote; “Breaking Peju ogunmola loses her only child He was 24 Such a sad day.”
