Fashion truly knows no bounds, and a recent viral clip of a female clothing vendor proves just that, sparking widespread reactions online.
In the video, which has made the rounds on Instagram, the vendor boldly transforms a traditional nun’s habit into a revealing outfit more suited for nightclub outings than the convent.
Note that a nun’s outfit, also known as a habit, typically includes a tunic or gown, veil, scapular, and sometimes a belt. The habit symbolizes a nun’s devotion, humility, and separation from worldly distractions, signifying her commitment to God, prayer, and service within her religious community.
A nun is a woman who has taken vows — typically of poverty (giving up personal possessions), chastity (remaining s3xually abstinent), and obedience (following the authority of her religious order).
However, the female clothes vendor in the viral clip did not follow any of the above rules of the nun’s outfit while marketing her brand.
The lady transformed the nun’s outfit into a revealing “baddie” look that showed off her body, a move that didn’t sit well with many people.
While some accused her of disrespecting christ, telling her to seek forgiveness from christ, others in the comment section, most especially men were seen gushing over her body.
