Nigerian chef and restaurateur Hilda Baci has carried out a test run with her 6-by-6-meter pot as she sets her sights on breaking the Guinness World Record for the largest pot of Nigerian jollof rice.
The update was shared on X (formerly Twitter), shortly after Hilda revealed on Instagram and TikTok that she will begin the official attempt on September 12 in Lagos.
In her post, the celebrity chef noted that achieving the record would be the fulfillment of her dream to cook the largest pot of Nigerian jollof rice.
A few hours later, Hilda conducted a trial run, preparing jollof rice in the massive pot to test the equipment and logistics before the official kickoff.
A video captured her alongside her team and others closely monitoring the process.
