The clip, which has been trending on X (formerly Twitter), was recorded by the child’s mother, who captured the moment her husband unleashed violence on their son for allegedly failing an exam.
In the video, the father is seen using a belt and landing heavy punches on the boy, even striking his ear at one point, causing the child to scream in pain. While the mother lamented in the background, the man continued beating the boy relentlessly.
When the father demanded to know why he failed, the boy replied that he was not the only one who failed. This response infuriated the father further, as he shouted that he works tirelessly from morning to night and would not tolerate his son failing in school.
The assault escalated as the father began throwing more punches while the child cried uncontrollably. The mother, in desperation, tells her husband to stop, warning him not to disfigure their son simply because of an exam failure.
