Popular Nigerian activist, Martins Vincent Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan, has stirred conversation online as he releases shocking evidence regarding Mohbad’s death.
Taking to his official Instagram page today, July 11th, 2025, VeryDarkMan exposes to all and sundry those allegedly responsible for Mohbad’s death as just for the late singer’s continues.
Recall that singer Mohbad, born, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, died on September 12th, 2023, at the age of 27.
In his attempt to get justice for Mohbad, VeryDarkMan has interviewed those who were with the late singer, 24 hours before he died.
VeryDarkman interviewed Primeboy, Spending, the driver who took Mohbad to the hospital before he passed away, Mohbad’s best female friend, Dominica Chinwe, as well as Naira Marley’s close associate, Sam Larry. The activist also revealed that he had a private interview with actress Iyabo Ojo.
VDM further revealed that he is yet to interview a few key people who were with Mohbad within 24 hours before his death. These include Mohbad’s wife, Wumi, his brother, Adura, and his cousin, Darosha.
The activist pointed out that these three individuals would never agree to meet with him. He then went on to call out the popular Nigerian blog, Instablog9ja.
According to VDM, Instablog9ja was the first to break the news of Mohbad’s death, reporting on September 12th, 2023, that the singer had died from an ear infection.
Speaking on, VeryDarkMan said that for the blog to confirm that the ear infection killed the singer, they have a source, and the source would be from those within Mohbad in the last 24 hours before he died.
VDM says; “The source is in that house, who gives Instagblog information that mohbad died of an ear infection?, it is between Mohbad’s wife and Mohbad’s brother in that house.”
Backing up his point, VeryDarkMan said that Mohbad’s widow never once refuted Instablog9ja’s claim that her husband died of an ear infection while mourning him the following day, September 13th, 2025.
The activist added that his main focus is now on Instablog9ja, as he wants to find out who their source was and how they got the information that Mohbad died from an ear infection.
Sharing the video on his Instagram page, VeryDarkMan wrote; “(Let’s get to the root of this)…APART FROM mohbad’s wife,mohbad’s brother Audra,mohbad’s cousin darosha and his friends that was with mohbad 24hrs before he kpai there is only one person that can actually tell us how mohbad kpai and this person wasn’t in that house that day………..”
He added; “ALSO NOTE THAT MOHBAD IS A SUPERSTAR AND AS SUCH THEY WOULD NOT PUBLISH A HEARSAY UNLESS IT FROM A RELIABLE SOURCE FURTHERMORE WHY DIDNT ANYONE FROM THE FAMILY COUNTER.”
