A video of an Oyinbo student clashing with his teacher has gone viral on X (formerly Twitter), stirring massive reactions online.
In the clip, the male student aggressively confronted his teacher during class and eventually slapped him, sparking chaos. The teacher tried to restrain him to prevent further drama, but the student resisted and pushed him repeatedly toward the classroom exit.
At that point, a police officer who had been observing the situation intervened and delivered a brutal takedown, leaving the student flat.
Classmates, clearly displeased with their colleague’s behavior, cheered the officer for disciplining him. The development reportedly happened in the United States of America (USA).

@tempotemptress: I would have to see what started the entire encounter to make a proper conclusion. What I see from just this video clip is first a teacher putting his hand on a student who aggressively shoves it away. Followed with the teacher repeating placing hands on a student who doesn’t want to be touched. The student shouldn’t have punched the teacher or shoved him but the teacher probably shouldn’t have touched the student. Just because students are cheering doesn’t make the situation okay either. But I don’t think the officer needed to use such force to apprehend the student. I don’t think the situation was properly handled. Had the student resisted being apprehended by the officer then I could understand such force but not in this situation. I would need to see what lead up to the altercation to make a proper judgement.
