Famous Nigerian comedian and singer, Lawal Michael Nasiru Bolaji, better known as Nasboi, is superexcited as he finally gets a verse from Davido.
Nasboi took to his official Instagram page to share the new development on Friday night, July 11th, 2025.
Recall that in May 2025, Nasboi said he would kneel across 36 states in Nigeria for 36 days in a plea post to get a verse from superstar Afrobeats singer Davido.
Nasboi began his journey by kneeling in Osun State, since both he and Davido are from there, and then went on to kneel in the other 35 states.
However, Nasboi’s attempt to get a verse from Davido has received mixed reactions. While some people praised his effort, others mocked him for traveling from one state to another just for a verse. Some netizens even speculated that Davido might not give him the verse in the end.
In a new post shared on his Instagram page, Nasboi proved the naysayers wrong as he excitedly shared a snippet of Davido’s verse. He also thanked Davido for his kind gesture.
Nasboi accompanied the video with the caption; “You dey laugh CHILD OF GRACE😭😭 Thank you OBO @davido ❤️❤️❤️.”
