Nollywood actor Jim Iyke has taken to social media to celebrate his colleague and close friend, Kate Henshaw, on her 54th birthday with a heartfelt message that has stirred emotions online.
The screen star, who has recently been rumoured to be dating Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, marked another year, and many of her colleagues and fans flooded social media with warm tributes.
Among them was Jim Iyke, whose emotional message stood out for its honesty and depth. In his post, Jim revealed that he had long harboured feelings for Kate — feelings he had kept hidden over the years — and confessed that he had always wanted to hit her spot.
Reflecting on their early days in the industry, Jim revisited the mindset of his 23-year-old self, recalling how Kate treated him like a younger brother, even though he had wished for something more.
He shared fond memories of the actress’s kindness — from giving him transport fare to tipping him off about auditions — gestures that helped shape his early career.
Yet, he confessed that despite their close friendship, he often had thoughts about her that were “far from friendly.”
Jim went on to fantasise about the love child they could have had together, saying that their child would now be in their mid-twenties if she had allowed him to “experiment with his seed just a couple of times.”
He added that such a child would have been a stunningly beautiful human.
The actor also praised Kate Henshaw’s natural beauty and enviable physique, pointing out that many young women wrongly believe such a look can be manufactured.
Jim, whose recent film was reportedly taken down from YouTube, remarked that some women are “killing themselves” with BBLs and Botox in a desperate bid to replicate what comes naturally to Kate.

You kept manipulating my black ass by always looking out for me. Giving me heads up at auditions. Sometimes, slipping a couple of bucks in my hands to make sure I got a meal or transport fare back to my cousin’s.
Every time I stared in those dancing, beautiful eyes of yours, you knew I had imaginations that were far from friendly.
Our love child would have been in his/her mid twenties now if you had let me experiment with my seed just a couple of times. What a gorgeous human we would have made together!

Fuck you, coz when you finally lemme hit it, I was at the apex of my singular wildness and restlessness. You knew I had a great heart, but I was just crazy and dumb.
I was overwhelmed with fame and too many voices in my ears, pointing me to wrong directions.
