Nigerian jeweler, Clinton K, has been left heartbroken after thieves stole jewelry worth over N500million from his Lagos store.
In a video posted on his Instagram page, clintokofficial, Clinton broke down in tears while recounting how his outlet, Queen Gold Lagos, located at Atlantic Centre, Chevron, was burgled.
He explained that the thieves gained entry through a hidden glass window he never knew existed, bypassing the roller shutter he had installed at the main entrance.
He accompanied the video with the caption; “My shop Queen Gold Lagos located at Atlantic Mall, Chevron was broken into and jewelries worth over 500 million naira was stolen.”
The emotional clip has since stirred mixed reactions online. While many sympathized with his ordeal, others criticized him for not putting stronger security measures in place given the size of his business.
