Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has taken to social media to slam activist VDM for criticizing Tinubu during former President Buhari’s burial.
On Tuesday, July 15th, 2025, VDM shared a video on his official Instagram page where he harshly criticized President Tinubu, claiming that many Nigerians would have preferred Tinubu to die instead of former President Buhari.
VDM argued that Tinubu’s administration has brought more suffering to Nigerians, insisting that Buhari’s tenure was far better.
In the viral video, he lamented the severe economic hardship Nigerians are facing and highlighted the growing insecurity, pointing out the alarming number of deaths recorded daily across the country.
While criticizing Buhari administration, VDM says that if Tinubu perfectly tackled insecurity during his tenure, he would be remembered for improving the security of the country which has been one of the biggest challenge so far.
Reacting to the above, singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, attacks VeryDarkMan as he said that it shall never be well with him for calling out President Tinubu.
He stressed that President Tinubu is a working president as he backs up his point that VDM used to drink sachet water before but now he drinks Table water and drive nice cars around.
Dragging VDM further, Portable said that VDM is one of the major reason justice has not being found for the late Mohbad following the interview the activist has been granting lately.
Portable said; “Verydarkman, it won’t be well with you. Before, you used to drink sachet water, but since Tinubu came in, you’re now drinking bottled water. That shows he is working as a president.”
