A new video making the rounds online shows an elderly woman publicly calling out former Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo, accusing him of abandoning her and their children.
In the viral clip, the woman, identified as Olufunmilayo Abiodun Obasanjo, claimed she dated Obasanjo for 20 years before becoming pregnant and giving birth to twins for him.
In tears during the interview, she alleged that Obasanjo has never taken any responsibility for the twins. Now partially paralyzed from a stroke, she said she has single-handedly raised the children from primary school through higher education.
She further claimed that Obasanjo treated her like a “local sperm collection bowl” and insisted she keep the pregnancy. She added that she already had a child with another man before having the twins for Obasanjo.
According to her, she once ran away from him for four years and was shocked when she later gave birth to the twins. She also alleged that Obasanjo sent her ₦25,000 twice to keep her quiet about the matter.
To back up her claims, she said members of Obasanjo’s family and his other children know who she is.
