Veteran Nollywood actress and fitness enthusiast Kate Henshaw has publicly called out popular TikTok personality Peller over a controversial video in which he mocks people with mental disabilities.
The viral video shows Peller imitating the behavior and speech of individuals with intellectual and psychological challenges, supposedly for comedy. However, the skit has triggered widespread backlash, with many condemning it as offensive and insensitive.
The viral TikTok clip was accompanied with the caption; “Use your woman play with anybody or turn to tribe.”
Reacting via her official page on X, formerly called Twitter, Kate Henshaw condemned the act, describing it as deeply insensitive.
The actress tweeted; “Under no circumstances is this kind of video acceptable. Persons with intellectual & developmental disabilities (IDD) are not to be ridiculed under any guise.
Disability is not a joke!!, it is cruel for this to be used as a trend…”
